Yunnan delicacy

  Yunnan famous dessert known as Flower cakes , they consists of a flaky pastry and inside is the flower jam made from rose petals that are edible. They come in different colors such as green, purple, yellow and pink. It is only available during a specific time of the year due to the limited flowering period. They were first made more than 300 years ago by the Qing dynasty and was also favorite delicacy of the Qianlong emperor. Rose petals also offer a lot of health benefits such good blood circulation and liver detoxification.
